Muse to headline Glastonbury 2016

Muse have announced they will be headlining the Friday Night line up at this year’s Glastonbury Festival.

The band join the line up as the second headline act announced, after Coldplay revealed they will be headlining the Sunday line up at the festival earlier this month.

A statement on the official Glastonbury website confirmed the news following the band’s own announcement on social media with this video:Watch movie online The Transporter Refueled (2015)

Muse picked up a Grammy award earlier this month as their latest album Drones won Best Rock Album at this year’s awards.

Tickets for Glastonbury 2016 have already sold out, although the Festival’s website suggests a resale of any cancelled or returned tickets in the early spring is “likely”.

Muse are currently touring the UK with their seventh studio album Drones – visit their website for more information.
