In just over a week’s time, Blissfields Festival returns to Vicarage Farm for a weekend of music, magic, party and sun (provided, of course, that the british summer doesn’t deprive eager festival goers of the latter). Held between July 1st-2nd, the festival offers a host of various different artists who are set to make this year’s House Party theme a real treat for all.
Now in it’s 16th outing, Blissfields is fast making a name for itself on the festival scene, regularly attracting names such as Chris T-T, Beans on Toast and Ben Howard. Born in 2001 with a hand-made stage, no tickets and enough fairy lights to decorate a large christmas tree several times over, this festival has come a long way since then.
But one thing remains: the ultimate aim to throw the biggest party ever. This year is no exception – with a line-up headlined by Dizzee Rascal and Everything Everything, the Blissfields team have pulled out all the stops to make sure that “Britian’s Biggest House Party” turns into a weekend to remember.
Joining Dizzee Rascal and Everything Everything at this year’s event are people like Shy FX, Logan Sama, Beans on Toast, Will Varley, Molotov Jukebox and Frankie Forman, to name but a few. The full line up is available to view here – but there’s more than just live music happening this year.
There’ll be food and drink stands from up and down the country, catering to a variety of different tastes and appetites (including a stand that sells both Pie and Vinyl – win!). Also featuring craft stands, art installations and comedy, Blissfields is set to have something for everybody within easy reach of your tent.
